Yeah, they'll be coming back - I've not finished all of the permissions yet, sleep was necessary

Okay I updated the initial post with a known issues list. All of the permisions should be set okay now - if you can't see something you should or vice versa please PM me and let me know - Thanks to those who already did! ~Dan

Unless my avatar shows up on this post, I haven't been able to get it to work. I've uploaded it 3 times, and saved after every one. It was up on the previous version, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. The signature showed up, even on previous posts.

Two bug reports based on the same problem, one of which is aesthetic and one of which is a major problem.

1) Polls are unreadable. This is the big one - the green text color on the white backdrop is simply intolerable, and makes the text impossible to pick out for several people I've spoken to. The blue banner at the top with white text is likewise impossible to read. This may be a feature only of polls imported from the old board (I haven't tried creating a new one to test), but if it isn't, it's a major bug and needs to be corrected.

2) This post has been edited boxes are large, annoying and very white (see below), which makes them stand out jarringly. I suspect they use the same color script as the poll box. If this can be changed to a dark color (like black), it would save us all headaches and make these things easier to read and look at.

It's a dumb feature and it's making the use of this forum just about unbearable right now. Cuz even when I don't move my computer, just because of router config or some such, it's not working a lot of times.

If it has to stay, is there any way the forums could be set to not show a reply button or fast replay field when you're not logged in? That's been my biggest issue with this feature.

Minor, but odd error.

Half the time when clicking "Mark Forums as Read" it tells me I don't have permission to do that.

But if I go back and click it again it works.

I just noticed while I was trying to sticky something...

I don't have moderator powers to the Temporal Investigations In Character or Out of Character boards... just the main board, which has only one post on it.

Okay, I've now determined... the feature that logs you out when you change IP addresses simply does not work properly. Over the course of my trip, I posted from my house, the bus, the airport, the house I was staying at, then back on the bus and my house. The only time this feature logged me out was in the middle of browsing at the house I was staying at - it didn't do so on any of my network changes, but it did very nearly eat a post I was writing while sitting still for a few hours.

It's not doing what it was designed to do, and is occasionally eating people's posts.
