It's been a long road for Futility's End. Nearing the Ten year mark of existence. Not to be taken lightly when you think about how many Groups come and go in the world of online role playing. Through it all FE has always focused on the players and most importantly the writing. We do things differently here with a cohesive shared universe and a running meta plot that can sometimes take months or even years to finish.

We pride ourselves on what we have to offer and just how different it is to sim in FE then anywhere else on the web. One thing that's benefited us is strong leadership. Only five people have held the FECO title. All of them capable qualified very talented and imaginative writers. Now as we head into a full decade of the end of Futility we welcome the latest person to hold the title of FECO.

AS FEXO it fell to me to pick the next FECO. It's a task i didn't take lightly and thought long and hard about all of my choices. What i wanted most in the next FECO was someone who understood the universe. Someone who was a quality writer. Someone who was going to look out for the best interests of the players. Most importantly i wanted someone who i knew i could trust with the legacy of Futility's End.

The list of candidates was very short. Only three individuals stood out to me. The person i chose best fit all of my qualifications. I consider him a friend and confidant and most of all very qualified.

Because of the my philosophical beliefs, there’s no alchohol, no gambling, and we can’t watch any television broadcasts. There are also not to be any women assigned to Futility's End. This will lead to a high suicide rate, but there’s no getting around that. We do have some videos of really, really dull CSPAN programs, if you’d like to see them.
