I ate a Chili Dog

I ate a Chili Dog for the first time ever, from this "American" style Restaurant for the first time ever today.

It's just not a thing here in Australia. I mean, it was nice and all... I just... I don't know. I can't see myself craving one anytime soon.

I've never really cared for them, but then again I inherited my grandpa's affinity for compartmentalized meals. Some foods just do not go together (and if they touch on the plate, the food is cursed!).

They're better if you make your own chili. And add cheese and onions.

Although, would the Australian version use kangaroo meat in the chili? I've eat kangaroo, tasty, but expensive here.

I've ate just about everything that hopped walked crawled or slithered at one time or another. But never have I put chilli on a hot dog.

Nope, I can't say it's a regular item on the menu. I've only ever had Kangaroo once or twice, not to say you can't buy it from the supermarket.
